Tariffs and charging passes: how does it work?
<h2>Set your rate</h2>
<p><strong>Only with a Public subscription (€10/month)</strong> you can set your own price. With the other subscriptions, the price is set automatically. Check out the details at <a href="https://wattify.be/nl/prijzen">wattify.be/en/prices</a>.</p> </p>
<p>All prices are <strong>excluding VAT</strong>.</p>
<p>You can find the price settings under <strong>Load site > Price setting</strong>.</p>
<p>There are four possible price components:</p>
<table>
<tr><td><strong>Start price</strong></td><td>Fixed price at each charging session (ex. VAT)</td></tr>
<tr><td><strong>kWh price</strong></td><td>Price per kilowatt hour charged (ex. VAT)</td></tr>
<tr><td><strong>Price per minute</strong></td><td>Price per minute of charging (ex. VAT)</td></tr>
<tr><td><strong>Inactivity price</strong></td><td>Price if the car is full but stays put (ex. VAT)</td></tr>
</table>
<p>You don't have to fill in everything. Most owners only fill in the kWh price.</p>
<h2>What does a public charger pay via QR code?</h2>
<p>Someone scans the QR code on your charging station. That person does not have a charging card. We call this a <strong>public charger</strong>.</p>.
<p>That person pays your rate <strong>plus</strong> a surcharge from Wattify. The surcharge depends on your subscription.</p>
<table>
<tr><td><strong>Occasional Public (free)</strong></td><td>20% on CREG price + €1.50 starting fee</td></tr>
<tr><td><strong>Low Public (€5/month)</strong></td></td><td>10% on CREG price</td></tr>
<tr><td><strong>Public (€10/month)</strong></td><td>€0.02 per kWh</td></tr>
<tr><td><strong>Split-billing (€5/month)</strong></td><td>€0.02 per kWh</td></tr>
</table>
<p><strong>Example:</strong> Your kWh price is €0.29 ex. VAT. You have a Public subscription. The QR charger then pays €0.29 + €0.02 = <strong>€0.31 ex VAT per kWh</strong>.</p>
<h2>Roaming: charging via a public charging card</h2>
<p>Someone charges with a charge card from e.g. Eneco, DATS 24, Luminus or Engie. This is called <strong>roaming</strong>. They do not use a QR code but their own charge card.</p>
<p>You just receive your set tariff. Wattify charges the surcharge to the roaming party.</p>
<p><strong>Important:</strong>the roaming party (e.g. Eneco) itself also charges a surcharge to their customer. They determine that amount themselves. This is outside the scope of Wattify.</p>
<p>You don't have to do anything for this. Roaming works automatically.</p>
<h2>Matching charge cards: preferential rate for fixed chargers</h2>
<p>Do you have regular users? Think neighbours, colleagues or friends. Then you can set a <strong>fixed kWh price</strong> for them.</p>
<p>They then charge at the rate you choose. Wattify's surcharge does <strong>apply</strong> here.</p> <p>Wattify's surcharge does apply.
<h3>What charge cards do you see?</h3>
<p>You will only see charge cards that have loaded at least once during the <strong>last 30 days</strong> on your charging site. So the user has to have charged at least once at the normal rate first. Only then will the charge card appear in your overview.</p>
<p><strong>Please note:</strong> this does <strong>not</strong> work with roaming charge cards (e.g. Eneco, DATS 24, Luminus). According to the <a href="https://wattify.be/nl/faq/articles/waar-gaat-artikel-5-van-de-afir-regeling-over/28">AFIR regulation (article 5)</a>, no price differentiation is allowed between roaming partners. So a preferential tariff can only be set for <strong>Wattify charging passes</strong>.</p>
<h3>How to set this up?</h3>
<ol>
<li>Go to your <strong>Charge site</strong>.</li>
<li>Open the <strong>Charge Pass</strong> tab.</li>
<li>Click on <strong>Pair charging card</strong>.</li>
<li>Select the charging card from the list.</li>
<li>Set a <strong>fixed kWh price</strong>.</li>
<li>Activate any <strong>CREG discount</strong>.</li>
</ol>
<h3>What is the difference with a discount code?</h3>
<table>
<tr><th></th><th>Linking charge card</th><th>Discount code</th></tr>
<tr><td><strong>Who?</strong></td><td>Fixed users (already loaded once)</td><td>Everyone with the code</td></tr>
<tr><td><strong>How to load?</strong></td><td>With their RFID card or app</td><td>Via QR code on the pole</td></tr>
<tr><td><strong>Tariff</strong></td><td>Fixed kWh price + Wattify surcharge</td><td>Discount on public tariff</td></tr>
<tr><td><strong>Set</strong></td><td>Per charge card, per charging site</td><td>Per charge site, for all</td></tr>
</table>
<h3>Example</h3>
<p>Benny charges regularly at your home. He has already charged at least once. His charge card now appears in your overview.</p>
<p>You link his charge card to your charging site. You set a fixed kWh price of €0.34 ex. VAT.</p> <p>You set a fixed kWh price of €0.34 ex. VAT.
<p>Benny now pays €0.34 + Wattify surcharge per kWh.</p>
<h2>Summary</h2>
<ul>
<li><strong>Your tariff</strong> = what you receive (ex. VAT).</li>
<li><strong>QR charger</strong> = your tariff + Wattify surcharge.</li>
<li><strong>Roaming</strong> = your tariff + Wattify surcharge + roaming party surcharge.</li>
<li><strong>Charge card pairing</strong> = fixed rate + Wattify storage.</li>
<li><strong>Discount code</strong> = discount for QR chargers.</li>
